Coating Machine Cleaning Method And Precautions

Coating machine cleaning method steps:

 

Method 1. Clean the glue tank and coating roller with ethyl acetate.

 

Method 2. Put 3-4 films (OPP, PET, CPP, LLDPE, etc.) in the glue tank.

 

Method 3. While rotating the coating roller at a slow speed, use a paintbrush to apply the plate cleaning solution on the surface, and then let it stand for 5~10min.

 

Method 4. Use a metal brush to scrub the surface of the roller forcefully for 2 to 3 times. Use a brush to clean the unwashed area again.

 

Method 5. Use 2~3L of ethyl acetate and fine copper wire brush to wash off the plate washing solution.

 

Method 6. Remove one sheet of the ethyl acetate film containing the plate washing solution in the tank.

 

Method 7. Then add about 10L of ethyl acetate into the tank to contact with the coating roller, slowly rotate the coating roller, and wash it with a metal brush and a wire-returning cloth until it is clean.

 

Method 8. Repeat the operation of 6 again.

 

Method 9. Repeat the operations of 7 and 8 again, in order to completely remove the foreign matter.

 

Method 10. Prepare 3~5L of ethyl acetate, and wash it with back silk while drenching it from the top of the coating roller.

 

Method 11. Scrub the applicator roll with a clean dry filament.

 

Method 12. Take out the ethyl acetate in the tank and put the film on it.

 

Method 13. The cleaning cycle can be determined according to the appearance of the product. Generally, it is better to clean it once a week or two weeks.

Matters needing attention 1. The plate washing solution SP-751 is a strong acid solution, and protective equipment such as rubber gloves, protective glasses and masks must be worn during operation.

 

Matters needing attention 2. The ethyl acetate used in steps 5~11 can still be used in steps 6~8 if it is restored to the state of no foreign matter.

 

Matters needing attention 3. Washing liquid has a corrosive effect on metal. If the coating roller coated with the plate cleaning solution is left for more than 1 hour, the chrome coating roller may be peeled off, and the cleaning must be completed within 1 hour.
